Malidea is the independent project of Sebastian Rosu, one of the best known bartenders of Sardinia, who experiences the biodiversity of his land by launching the Vermouth Balsamico Ruju.

It has a vinous base of Cannonau, absolute protagonist Pontes produced by the Mastio Hofmann Cellars of Galtellì, to which a Cannonau balsamic vinegar aged over 20 years plus three endemic citrus fruits - sa pompia (slowfood presidium), bitter orange and Limetta Bulsha ("Limuneddu Druche" in Sardinian, with intense aromas similar to Bergamot) - and eighteen local botanicals hand-picked - among these leaves of myrtle, sage, dandelion, wild chicory, sea wormwood, toasted saffron flowers, broom flowers, Cedrino licorice and Sardinian gentian -.

Ruju Malidea Balsamic Vermouth gives hints of spicy, fruity and citrusy. Ruby red in color, it tickles the palate with immediate umami, then bittersweet, bursts of balsamic freshness and away a slightly bitter finish. Ruju is pressed, extraordinarily complex and versatile at the same time. Intrusive protagonist of a grandiose Negroni, perfect to be enjoyed neat, an unforgettable companion for very aged or moldy cheeses.
