The distillery where AmaGin comes to life, whose origins date back to 1852, is equipped with traditional all-copper stills powered by the steam system and dominated by splendid flat rectification columns, also rigorously in copper. The master distillers, now in their fourth generation, did not want to introduce process automation systems,
believing that the only truly reliable tool to be able to distinguish the numerous aromatic compositions of Gin is their sense of smell. For this reason, the delicate blending of the various distillation components (“head”, “heart” and “tail”) is carried out after organoleptic analysis directly by the master distiller.

The essence of AmaGin comes from selected botanicals and from the extract of destemmed pomace of grapes suitable for becoming Amarone della Valpolicella DOCG. AmaGin has an intense and elegant character, which is expressed in the peculiarity of the seductive pink colour, in the dry taste and in the delicate aroma. The skilful, unique and artisanal distillation places it among the most original products of its territory.
A fresh and persistent gin that goes well with dry or slightly sweet tonics. Juniper berries are infused in pure alcohol and distilled in a traditional steam still. The distillate is then completed by the Master Distiller with selected botanicals and ingredients including the extract of de-stemmed grape pomace suitable for becoming Amarone della Valpolicella DOCG

The essence of AmaGin is expressed in 40 degrees of alcohol for 5 distilled botanicals with a cold infusion technique in pure alcohol and water.
The enveloping notes of Juniper unleash gustatory sensations on the palate in symbiosis with the slightly fruity scents given by the pomace extract. To complete the recipe, Cinnamon, Liquorice and Bergamot give it a floral scent and a slightly spicy flavour. The careful distillation process of the 10 selected botanicals takes place in traditional discontinuous copper stills in a bain-marie, from the ancient tradition of the Master Distiller Tullio Zadra, making the product pleasantly full and enveloping
Thanks to the complex combination of Asperula, Mint and Rhubarb in addition to Juniper and Corvina, Rondinella and Corvinone Grapes, the Master Distillers have been able to create a Mediterranean aromatic balance capable of transporting us on a sensory journey through the aromas and flavors of Valpolicella
The addition of pinches of Gentiana, Centaurea, Calamo and China give AmaGin Black London Dry a strongly dry character with herbaceous nuances, enhanced by the 45% alcohol content which makes it the perfect base for structured cocktails
