Mirtillo Rosso is the only place in the world where it is always Christmas. Starting from this concept, the Family Hotel located on Monte Rosa has built its offer on experience, well-being, emotions and sustainability.
In 2023 the establishment also launched its line of three gins (the other two, in addition to Gin Babbo, are Frosty and Wintergreen), inspired by the iconic characters of Blueberry and Christmas.

Santa stands out for his artistic streak: touching the phone to the bottle opens a web page where you can listen to Mirtillo Rosso's Christmas playlist on Spotify. You can also have fun decorating the bottle, adding the hat and adhesive buttons included in the bag of accessories supplied with the gin.
Gin Babbo is delicately scented on the nose, with warm, spicy and fruity hints, which evoke Christmas sweets. Consistently, on the palate the delicate sweet and astringent notes of red fruits and raisins are balanced by the spicy heat of cinnamon. The floral and delicately herbaceous profile of chamomile acts as a backdrop, enhancing the juniper and giving depth to the aromas.

WINTERGREEN
Wintergreen is the most versatile bottle, suitable to become a real home decoration. In fact, the glass has a semi-opaque paint that allows it to light up with the LED lights included in the package, just insert the wire with the lights once the bottle is finished and that's it. The accessories also include three sets of stickers to apply to the bottle to make it even more playful and colourful.

Wintergreen Gin releases, on the nose and palate, extremely fresh - enhanced by mint - and balsamic notes of juniper and mountain pine, with their peculiar resinousness. Thyme and rosemary strengthen the herbaceous sensation and also give a light spicy note. The picture is completed by a very light touch of grapefruit which gives fresh citrus notes capable of balancing the hints of gin.
FROSTY
Frosty, the snowman, in addition to his organoleptic peculiarities, stands out for his creative streak: the accessories that compose him, two arms which are actually two washable markers, allow the white bottle to be used as a sheet of paper to express joy and the warmth of Christmas by decorating it as you wish. The character is completed by a red fabric scarf to put around the neck of the bottle.

Orange, bergamot, lemon, mandarin and cedar give life to a concentration of notes that creates a melody with every nuance of citrus fruits. A touch of black pepper enhances the spicy part, while juniper reinforces the freshness in an excellent balance of taste and aroma.

JENSEN'S OLD TOM GIN
Our Old Tom recipe was taken from
a distiller's manual from 1840. It's a real Old Tom gin, similar to those used by bartenders of mid-late 1800s. Unsweetened and earthy, it has a deep flavor that adds complexity to many drinks.
