Serious Pervas

Thanks to its vocation Trieste, which became a free port of the Austrian Empire, welcomed large steamships in the nineteenth century that transported goods and people from the continent to the rest of the world: among them the Seri Pervas stood out. Built in 1839, this steamship with large wooden wheels sailed for years along the Danube towards the hinterland, and then spent another twenty years sailing the sea.
