Stobbe is one of the oldest Juniper liqueurs. In 1776 Peter Stobbe, originally from a Dutch Mennonite family, began distilling a juniper spirit near Gdansk. The secret recipe is still kept as such by the family. Today Gin Stobbe 1776 combines the classic recipe with the pleasantly fruity notes of black currant and the delicate acidity of bergamot. In the traditional bottle, the blue cross indicates the presence of the two new botanicals that define the particularity of this gin. On the nose and on the palate it is the sweet notes of black currant that predominate, combined with the fresh citricity of bergamot and the herbaceous notes of juniper and green pepper, with a slightly spicy background.
Due to its history and originality, Stobbe 1776 Gin is one of the products selected by the ilGin.it experts for the “Adopt a Gin” project which brings high quality spirits to Italy in search of an importer in our country. For more info write to info@ilgin.it
