Acquaverdi Gin

Gin Acqueverdi takes its name from the mountain springs of Val d'Aosta, close to the La Valdotaine distillery, which are characterized by the beautiful green-turquoise color given by the minerals contained in the waters, which give the gin its particular taste. In addition to its strong minerality, gin is also characterized by distinctive herbaceous and floral aromatic notes dates from the botanicals collected in the valley behind the distillery. Among these we find alpine rose, mallow, mountain pine, pine buds and genepy. Even the Juniper it comes from the Aosta Valley, where it is widespread and used to flavor foods and to prepare herbal teas and liqueurs. And it is precisely from the traditional juniper liqueur, made by maceration of both the berries and the sprigs of juniper, that the production of Gin Acqueverdi is inspired, in which the branches of the plant have been macerated together with the berries. The result is a truly unique gin, with a full and perfectly balanced taste and a characteristic slightly straw yellow color.
