The Fratelli Brunello distillery, founded in Montegalda in 1840, is the oldest artisan distillery in Italy. CR42 Falco gin is a tribute to Giandomenico Brunello, born in 1916 and 3rd generation of the Distillery. In fact, during the Second World War, with his FIAT CR 42 FALCO, a single-seater biplane and single-engine fighter, he sailed the skies from Africa to Northern Europe, winning a Cross for Military Valor.
CR42 Falco is an overall very soft and delicate gin: the citrus notes of lemon and juniper are the background of a pleasant scent like honey. Enveloping, fine and intense, light notes emerge reminiscent of hay and bay leaves. This gin is also striking for its unique, greenish color, due to the pigments present in the tarragon, bay leaf and myrtle.
