Ginuensis pays homage to the city of Genoa, where it is produced, in particular to the maritime trade in spices that connected the port with the rest of the world. In fact, the gin is characterized by the kaffir lime leaves, typical of Thai cuisine. On the palate it is soft, aromatic and persistent, with notes of orange, licorice and cumin which then leave space in the long finish to those peculiar to the kaffir lime.
The label was created by hand by Luca Barcellona, an internationally renowned calligrapher. The logo depicts a hedgehog, a symbol of the thorny nature of the Genoese, but also of the pristine beauty of the Genoa area.
