The Sister's Gin

The Sister's Gin is a cold compound gin at 40% vol., that is a gin prepared starting from a base of soft cereal alcohol to which the various cold botanicals are added. It is a technique dating back to the era of prohibition, a period in which the so-called "Bathub Gin" were prepared following exactly this procedure. With this technique, a greater quantity of essential oils is extracted and therefore the aroma of the various plants, flowers and spices present, obtaining a more aromatic and complex product than the classic distilled gin. The prevailing notes of Sister's Gin are those of fresh violets, combined with hints of juniper and coriander.
