The name Tovel comes from the lake of glacial origin in the heart of Brenta National Park, near which the Valentini Distillery. This all-Italian distillery was born in 1872 when the Val di Non was still part of the Austro-Hungarian Empire. All nine botanicals present in Tovel's Gin are of Trentino origin and are partly collected directly on the territory by the Master Distiller Gianluigi Valentini, Rodolfo's great-grandson and current owner of the distillery. The copper alembic used for the distillation of gin dates back to 1927.
Visually Tovel's Gin is bright, transparent, like the spring water from which it is distilled and which gives it a strong minerality in flavor. On the palate it is enveloping due to the presence of glycerin e the taste is balsamic and very aromatic with hints of licorice, absolutely pleasant and easy to drink.
