VII Hills Gin was created by Danilo Tersigni, Francesco Medici and Filippo Previero, three guys of Italian origin who work in the beverage world and met in London working for the renowned Mr Fogg's. In 2014 they created VII Hills London Dry gin, distilled in London with botanicals from the Seven Hills of Rome, but in 2017 Filippo and Danilo decided to bring the distillation of their gin to Italy to make it 100% Italian. They changed the recipe and the distillation method and gave life to VII Hills Italian Dry Gin.
VII Hills Italian Dry Gin is very aromatic and on the palate the sweet notes of pomegranate are perfectly balanced with the delicate ones of Roman chamomile and the very fresh ones of celery. The orange emerges on the nose, while the Roman artichoke leaves a particular light and unique aftertaste. This gin is perfect drunk neat with ice, but above all in any type of mixing. Gin Tonic with a stalk of celery and Negroni are particularly recommended, perhaps using Italicus Rosolio di Bergamotto instead of Campari.
