Uppercut Gin

Uppercut Premium Quality Dry Gin is the brainchild of Manuel Wouters, creator of the Spring Gin range, and is produced by Zuidam, one of the best artisan distilleries in the Netherlands. Together with Left Hook Gin it forms a winning combination and the two gins bear the name of two boxing strokes: the upright and left hook. The duo's motto is: "Makes the week strong". Four of the botanicals selected for this gin were formerly used for their healing properties: on the gin bottle it is reported that damiana fights headaches and sexual problems, strawberry leaves help digestion, licorice is good for sore of throat and infections, verbena was used as a toothpaste. The complex of botanicals and the fact that each is distilled separately mean that the gin has a intense aroma and strong taste, with mainly herbaceous notes.
