Silent Pool is an excellent English gin, which lends itself perfectly to blending, elegant and delicate but not too much. The nose is delicious and complex, while on the palate the juniper prevails, balanced by the notes of citrus peels and floral ones. It is handcrafted in the small distillery of the same name located just outside London, using a rare wood-fired alembic with direct flame and dividing the botanicals into three groups: some undergo a maceration process, others of immersion infusion and the last of infusion steam powered. In this way, the essence of each botanical is extracted in the best possible way and with care.
Una mysterious legend surrounds the lake to which the gin owes its name: it seems that it is haunted by the ghost of a young woman who, while immersed in it, was bothered by Giovanni Senzaterra and, frightened, went too far into the center of the lake and drowned . It is said that it is possible to hear it whispering in the wind in the evening near the banks.
