Bugin was created by Schiavo Mauro, a butcher and restaurateur with a past as a barista, with the aim of giving his customers a new taste experience. In fact, Bugin is specially designed to accompany the flavors and spices typical of the cuisine of cuts of meat and cured meats. Bugin on the palate is dry and balanced, aromatic and intense, with prevailing notes of thyme and genepy accompanying the juniper, while it is more delicate on the nose with floral and balsamic notes. To be tried in the Gin Tonic paired with cold cuts and knife beaten.
The colorful label wants to tell the story of Turin through patterns that recall the flooring of some iconic places such as Piazza San Carlo, the wall of the Risorgimento Museum and the modern facade of the Rinascente in the city centre.
