Gin del Professore A La Madame is characterized by the exclusive use of Tuscan and Umbrian wild juniper, which is macerated together with various herbs, spices, citrus fruits plus a secret ingredient. The result is a gin with an incredible aroma, with notes of vanilla and cinnamon combined with more spicy ones, together with notes of honey and ripe peaches. On the palate it is a warm but balsamic gin, with a resinous finish complemented by floral notes.
The two Gins of the Professor (Mr. and A La Madame) are distilled with the “bathtub” method and were created by Carlo Quaglia, a well-known Piedmontese distiller, and by the boys of the "Jerry Thomas Speakeasy”In Rome, eager to rediscover the distillation methods of the times of Prohibition.
