Fire - Gin I Peccati del Duca

Gin Dry "Incendio" combines the aromatic and astringent notes of blackthorn with the floral notes of helichrysum and lavender, supported by the herbaceous and dry touch of juniper. Also ideal to be drunk neat and cold. It is part of the "I Peccati Del Duca" range, Molise gins inspired by the legend according to which the Duke of Bagnoli del Trigno (the town in the province of Isernia where Officine Naturali gins are produced) used to abuse rule of the Ius Primae Noctis (which gave him the right to lie with the future brides before the groom himself) and therefore the Duchess made an agreement with the commoner Bellamaria to assassinate the Duke. The people sparked a revolt and set the castle on fire, which was engulfed in a huge fire. Duchessa, Bellamaria and Incendio are the names of the three gins, all based on blackthorn from Molise and other local botanicals.
