Old Grifu Gin Pillons

Old Grifu is an aged gin, characterized by a greater presence of the aromatic scents of the spontaneous herbs of the Sardinian coasts compared to the classic version of Grifu. The addition of orange peel and fresh mandarin before distillation gives it body and freshness. The final product is an exaltation of all the botanicals used, both in the nose and in the mouth, with a consistent delicacy on the palate given by the refinement of at least six months in cask. In fact Old Grifu Gin is produced by the renowned Sardinian company Silvio Carta using the chestnut barrels in which their award-winning Vernaccia di Oristano was aged. Unique in mixing, it is extremely pleasant even when drunk straight.
