Barber's London Dry Gin takes its name from those distant times when London barbers could still practice the art of surgery: in 1745 the sovereign of Great Britain, George II, separated the two professions with his royal decree; the barbers of the kingdom were however allowed to continue to use the most widespread alcoholic product of the time, Gin, which in addition to being drunk could be used as a disinfectant and as an aftershave lotion.
Fresh, dry and penetrating on the nose, Barber's gin is extremely dry on the palate, but also clean, with herbaceous notes combined with prevailing notes of juniper. With its 40 ° it is pleasant even smooth and very versatile in mixing. It is produced by one of the most important distillers in the world, Charles Maxwell, at the Thames Distillery in London.
