Shelby's Tonic
The perfect summer Gin Tonic: as the ice melts it will be enriched with flavors and will be a real pleasure!
Ingredients:
For the Gin Tonic:
- 50ml Peaky Blinder Spiced Dry Gin
- 150 ml Unmissable Dry Bitter Tonic Water
- 1 large cube or sphere of flavored ice (plus possibly more ice cubes)
For the flavored ice:
- ¼ fresh orange juice
- ¾ water
- Cardamom seeds
- Jamaica pepper
- Orange peel
Preparation:
For the flavored ice: Make a mixture with 20% fresh orange juice and 80% water. In a possibly large ice mold, pour the mixture and add 2 cardamom seeds after having been slightly mashed, a couple of Jamaica peppercorns and an orange peel. Freeze in the freezer.
For the Gin Tonic: Put the flavored ice in the balloon cup (if you haven't used a very large mold, add more ice cubes to fill the glass). Pour Peaky Blinder Gin and then the tonic water. Gently mix and serve.
