Aqva Lvce

Antonio Levarin, known as Toni, was a soldier in the navy during the First World War and thanks to an English fellow soldier he discovered gin. After the war Toni abandoned the production of mines and began distilling gin in secret and it is from one of his recipes that gin Aqva Lvce was born, named after the memory of the explosions of mines that illuminated the waters of the sea. This compound gin contains particular Italian botanicals such as hops, gentian, rose hips, wild thyme, broom, hawthorn and laurel. A particular and long distillation process ensures that the gin is perfectly balanced, with notes of juniper that marry with balsamic notes and spicy notes on the nose, while on the palate it strikes for the dry but not pungent taste and for the herbaceous notes.
