Amsterdam is considered the European capital of cannabis and it is there, in the Redlight District, that two entrepreneurs have started a company producing hemp-based spirits. They say the true taste of cannabis was missing from the Amsterdam cocktail scene and so the two created three cannabis spirits: a gin, a vodka and a liqueur. Cannabis Sativa Gin combines the classic notes of juniper with the spicy notes of spicy cardamom and the light ones of vanilla, but above all it is unique for the incredible taste given by hemp. It does not contain THC, which is the active ingredient that gives cannabis sativa its psychotropic effects.
