Edgerton Pink Gin

Martin Edgerton Gill, former owner of the London Gin Company, discovered that among the keys to the success of a distillate there is not only the superb taste, but also the color. His father fought in the Royal Navy during World War II and around that time he fell in love with pink gin, a combination of gin and Angostura bitter created in 1824 to combat seasickness. His son Martin used his vast knowledge of herbs and spices to create a totally new and contemporary pink gin, using 15 exotic botanicals including pomegranate. And it is precisely the pomegranate that gives gin its characteristic pink color and delicious sweet scent, which on the palate gives way to a wide range of sour and fruity notes that blend in harmony in an immediately recognizable taste among all the other gins.
