Kintyre Gin

Kintyre Gin is produced using renewable energy supplied by the Torrisdale Castle Estate's small hydroelectric system. The water comes from the hills "Beinn an Tuirc from which the distillery takes its name and which in Gaelic means" the hills of the wild boar "and which constitute the highest point of the Kintyre area, which gives its name to the gin. Kintyre Gin botanicals are 12, ten common and two rare, Icelandic lichen and Rumex Acetosella, known as “sheep sorrel”. On the palate the notes of juniper are followed by floral and citrus notes, and then leave room for the notes of Icelandic musk and sorrel. The finish is long and dry with a warm spicy note.
