Mohn Island Poppy Gin has the particularity of having the botanicals green and blue juniper berries typical of Estonia and poppy seeds, both hand-picked from the small fishing island of Mohn (or Muhu). The design of the bottle is inspired by poppy fields and the single flower, as is evident the more bottles are displayed side by side.
In 1688 the island of Muhu was called "Mohn" in reference to the German word for the island's poppies, which at the time covered its surface. But the climate and the territory of the place are also excellent for the growth of juniper, thanks to the rocky terrain beaten by the wind, the summer sun and the saltiness of the sea. This gin has admirably captured in itself the atmosphere of the island, its aromas, its essence, in fact the balsamic notes of juniper are happily combined with those of poppy seeds giving life to a fresh and distinctive taste, enveloping and particular, but also suitable for mixing.
