Six 14 Gintol

Seis14 Gintol is a unique distillate of its kind. In fact, the base in which botanicals such as juniper, cardamom, fennel, grapefruit zest, orange and lemon, mix of peppers and apricot zest are added is a Sotol, a typical Mexican DOC spirit created from Dasylirion Wheeleri, a plant that grows wild in the desert north of Mexico. This plant gives gin its own particular smoky and woody scents, which are the background of spicy, herbaceous, citrus and mineral notes at the same time. With Seis14 Gintol, the master sotolero Carlos Aragón Herrera, on his Casa Ruelas farm, in Aldama, Chihuahua, wanted to pay homage to European gin by giving it a new intrinsically Mexican interpretation. A challenge to the usual tequila to make this artisanal and local product known to the world known as Sotol.
