Kapriol Dry Gin was born at the end of 2015 after two years of research and experimentation aimed at reproducing the ancient recipe of classic Kapriol (typical mountain liqueur), transforming it into a real gin. This is the Old Tom version, so softer and slightly sweet than the original. The low percentage of sugars makes it particularly delicate, while the absence of citrus fruits makes it suitable for mixing, especially in drinks with grapefruit, lime, lemon or other citrus fruits that add these notes to gin.
Kapriol Old Tom Gin has a fresh and balsamic scent reminiscent of mountain woods, with notes of juniper, mint, mountain pine and laurel. On the palate it is soft and persistent, with herbaceous notes balanced by the bitter taste of hops.
