Gincosta, the first Gin of the Castelli Romani, tells the history, traditions and customs of the town of Lanuvio through the aromas and its label.
The face reproduced on the bottle represents the goddess Juno Sospita, from the Latin term Iuno Sospita, i.e. "propitious", represented with a spear in her hand and accompanied by a snake; she was a deity of Roman mythology, venerated in ancient Lanuvium and today a symbol of the city.
Gincosta is pleasant to drink thanks to the harmony between juniper and citrus fruits, well present on the nose and on the palate. The balsamic nature of the juniper and the freshness of the citrus fruits are supported by the notes of mint, while a light warm and spicy touch given by black pepper and cinnamon completes the picture; the latter enhances the delicate floral notes of the rose. Soft and suitable for the most diverse palates.
