"Vor" in Icelandic means "spring" and the arctic spring is the inspiration of this gin that wants to capture the essence of Icelandic nature with a unique blend of wild juniper berries, rhubarb, cabbage, musk, sweet algae and other carefully selected Icelandic herbs. The base alcohol is made from barley grown in the Arctic in a cold climate which makes it complex, structured and full. All the botanicals are hand-picked in the Icelandic highlands or grown locally in a manner Biological taking extreme care in selecting only the seasonal herbs and spices available. Distilled in small batches, all the essential oils of the botanicals are preserved during the distillation process, enhanced by the gradation of 57% in this Navy Strength version.
Thanks to the highest gradation of Vor Icelandic Gin Navy Strength in fact at an olfactory level all the aromas are enriched, especially juniper, angelica root and thyme. On the palate all the botanicals reach their maximum expression with the right balance, filling the palate with fascinating combinations of flavors, unique thanks to the flavor of cabbage and sweet seaweed and the warm notes of rhubarb.
