Hawthorn's London Dry Gin was created based on a recipe from a British Royal Navy commander who, with botanicals collected during world travels, distilled gin with English alcohol. The grandson, Will Turnage, retrieved the recipe from his grandfather's diaries and thus this gold medal gin was born (won three times in a row at the prestigious San Francisco World Spirits Competition in 2016, 2017 and 2018).
Hawthorn's London Dry Gin is an excellent and elegant London Dry, much softer than other gins in the same category. From the gentle aroma, on the palate it stands out for the evident notes of juniper, but citrus and spices make them the perfect frame with an excellent balance given by the union of the characteristics of all the botanicals. An excellent value for money, for a gin to be used in any type of drink.
